The Boston Celtics have made history by winning the 2024 NBA championship, defeating the Dallas Mavericks 4-1 in the NBA Finals. The Celtics' dominant performance in Game 5, winning 106-88, secured their 18th title, surpassing the Los Angeles Lakers' record of 17 championships.

Jayson Tatum led the charge, posting an impressive 31 points, 11 assists, and 8 rebounds. Jaylen Brown, named NBA Finals MVP, added 28 points and 7 rebounds to the Celtics' victory.

At 35, Coach Joe Mazzulla became the youngest coach to lead a team to the championship. The Celtics' win marks a new era in NBA dominance.

The city of Boston erupted in celebration, with fans flooding the streets and chanting "Celtics Pride." The team's historic victory parade is set to take place on June 22nd, with millions expected to attend.
