Netflix has confirmed that the hit romantic comedy series Emily in Paris will return for its highly anticipated fifth season on December 18th, 2025. All 10 episodes of the season will be released at once, giving fans the chance to binge the final chapter of Emily Cooper’s adventures in one sitting.

The upcoming season takes Emily, played by Lily Collins, beyond Paris as she balances life and work between Rome and Venice. Described as “a tale of two cities,” the new episodes will follow her continued journey of romance, friendship, and professional challenges in Italy while maintaining her Parisian ties.

The core cast, including Collins, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, will return, though Camille Razat, who played Camille, will not appear in this season. New faces joining the cast include Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg, and Michèle Laroque.

Production briefly paused earlier this year after the tragic passing of assistant director Diego Borella, who collapsed on set in Venice in August. Filming has since resumed, ensuring the season’s December premiere remains on track.

Since its debut in 2020, Emily in Paris has become a global pop-culture phenomenon, known for its fashion, romance, and lighthearted exploration of cross-cultural living. With its upcoming season, the series promises to wrap up Emily’s story with a blend of glamour, drama, and Italian flair.

Emily in Paris Season 5 premieres December 18, 2025, exclusively on Netflix.
