Fantasia Taylor is embarking on a new musical journey, announcing the release of her debut gospel album. The Grammy-winning artiste, known for her powerful vocals and emotive performances, shared that this project has been a long time coming.

“God has been telling me to do a gospel album for years, and I’ve been running,” Fantasia revealed. “I wanna give my Father who’s been so good to me, back what He deserves.” She expressed that her hesitation stemmed from the deep reverence she holds for her faith, stating, “Someone asked: Why are you scared? I replied because my Abba actually means everything to me and my posture has to be different.”

The first glimpse into this spiritual endeavor is the newly released single, Have Your Way, which Fantasia debuted during a heartfelt performance on American Idol. The song showcases her soulful delivery and marks a return to her gospel roots, resonating with fans who have long awaited this musical direction.

This gospel album signifies a full-circle moment for Fantasia, reconnecting with the genre that influenced her early singing experiences. As she prepares to share more of her faith through music, fans can anticipate a collection that reflects her personal journey and unwavering devotion.
