Former Aide Reveals Diddy Allegedly Kidnapped Her in Plot to Kill Kid Cudi
Diddy Courtroom Sketch

A former top aide to Sean “Diddy” Combs sent shockwaves through his ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering trial, testifying that the hip-hop mogul kidnapped her at gunpoint in a chilling scheme to kill rapper Kid Cudi. The explosive claims from Capricorn Clark, who worked as global brand director for Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment, kicked off the third week of testimony in Manhattan federal court with a gut-punch.
Clark, visibly shaken, told jurors that in December 2011, Combs showed up at her home in a rage, waving a gun and demanding she get dressed because “we’re going to kill Cudi.” The motive? Combs was furious that Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, was dating his on-and-off girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie Ventura. Clark said she was forced into a black Cadillac Escalade and driven to Cudi’s Los Angeles home, where Combs and a bodyguard broke in while she waited in the SUV, terrified.
In a frantic call to Cassie, Clark recalled warning her that Combs had “got me with a gun and brought me to Cudi’s house to kill him.” She heard Cudi in the background, stunned, asking, “He’s in my house?” Clark begged Cassie to stop Cudi from confronting Combs, fearing he’d get hurt, but Cassie said she couldn’t intervene. When Combs returned to the car, he grabbed Clark’s phone and called Cassie back himself.
The drama escalated when they heard Cudi’s car approaching. Combs and his bodyguard gave chase but backed off when they spotted police cars heading toward Cudi’s house. Afterward, Clark said Combs ordered her and Cassie to convince Cudi it wasn’t him who broke in, threatening, “If you don’t convince him, I’ll kill all you.” Clark and Cassie later visited Cudi to ensure he wouldn’t report Combs to the police.
The testimony didn’t stop there. Clark described a horrifying scene where Combs brutally attacked Cassie over her relationship with Cudi, kicking her “with 100% full force” as she curled up on the ground outside his home, crying silently. The account was so graphic that Combs’ lawyer objected, and the judge told jurors to disregard it.
Clark’s story paints a dark picture of Combs’ alleged reign of terror. Prosecutors say he led a 20-year racketeering conspiracy, using bodyguards, death threats, and intimidation to get his way. Clark also claimed Combs threatened to kill her on her first day working for him in 2004, when he and a bodyguard took her to Central Park after 9 p.m. to warn her about her past work with rival rappers. She recounted another incident where, after losing diamond jewelry Combs tasked her with carrying, she was subjected to five days of lie detector tests by a man “five times” her size who threatened to throw her in the East River if she failed.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and abusing Cassie and others. If convicted, he faces 15 years to life in prison. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, challenged Clark’s memory, pointing out inconsistencies and noting she even pitched returning to work for Combs as his chief of staff in 2024, despite her claims of abuse. Clark admitted some details were hazy, given the events happened over a decade ago.
Cudi, who testified last week, backed up parts of Clark’s story, saying she called him from outside his home to warn him about Combs’ break-in. He also believes Combs later blew up his Porsche in retaliation for briefly dating Cassie, though they split soon after the incident.
