Kenny Chesney has secured the top spot on Billboard’s Top Country Artistes of the 21st Century chart, a retrospective ranking of the best-performing country acts from 2000 to 2024, as announced on May 27, 2025. The Tennessee native’s dominance is driven by his unparalleled success on the Billboard Top Country Albums and Hot Country Songs charts, with 17 No. 1 albums and 20 No. 1 singles between 2000 and 2020. 

Known for his signature blend of heartfelt ballads and beach-inspired anthems like SHE THINKS MY TRACTOR’S SEXY and SUMMERTIME, Chesney has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, affirming his status as a country music titan. His recent induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in March 2025 further cements his legacy.

Chesney’s chart-topping reign includes a record-extending 33 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, from 1997’s SHE’S GOT IT ALL to 2024’s TAKE HER HOME, outpacing peers like Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton.
