Spotify has rolled out a new Premium-only feature called “Mix” that allows users to customize transitions between songs, enhancing the way playlists flow.
The tool gives listeners the option to apply preset transitions such as Fade or Rise, or to manually adjust advanced settings including volume, EQ, and effects. Designed to mimic a DJ-like experience, the feature makes it possible to create smoother blends between tracks and tailor playlists for different moods or environments.
With “Mix,” Spotify continues to expand its suite of personalization tools, building on existing offerings like AI DJ and Smart Shuffle. The addition not only enhances user creativity but also responds to a growing demand for more dynamic and interactive playlist experiences.
The feature is now available to Premium subscribers globally.
