Brent Faiyaz Gears Up Fort New Album ICON With Two Singles, PETER PAN & TONY SOPRANO

American R&B singer Brent Faiyaz is officially in album mode. The genre-bending artist recently dropped two new singles, Peter Pan and Tony Soprano, setting the tone for his much-anticipated upcoming album titled ICON, set for release on September 19th, 2025.

The two tracks, which were released on July 4th, showcase Brent’s signature moody, introspective sound while hinting at a darker, more cinematic narrative direction. Peter Pan leans into a dreamy, floaty vibe, touching on themes of escapism and emotional detachment while Tony Soprano feels bolder and more confrontational, drawing inspiration from the iconic TV crime boss to reflect on power, ambition, and self-preservation.

Fans have been buzzing about what’s to come, with ICON being positioned as Brent Faiyaz’s most daring body of work yet. Though still mysterious about the tracklist and potential features, the Maryland native has hinted that the album will explore his own contradictions balancing romantic vulnerability with raw realism.

The last major project from Brent, WASTELAND (2022), debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and was critically acclaimed for its concept-driven structure and lush production. With ICON, he’s expected to push the boundaries even further.

As the countdown to September 19th begins, Peter Pan and Tony Soprano are already setting the stage, reminding listeners why Brent Faiyaz remains one of the most enigmatic voices in modern R&B.

Both singles are now streaming on all major platforms.
