Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has released a new song, AFRICAN MANDIBA and unveiled the official music video for the song. The video, directed by Max, was shot in Jamaica and released on January 17th, 2025. 
AFRICAN MANDIBA serves as a tribute to Jamaican dancehall icon Vybz Kartel and the people of Jamaica. The song expresses Shatta Wale’s appreciation for the influence and support he has received from the Jamaican music community. 
The music video showcases vibrant scenes from Jamaica, highlighting the rich cultural exchange between Ghana and Jamaica. This release marks Shatta Wale’s first music video shot in Jamaica, symbolizing his deep connection to the island’s musical heritage.
